Fulfillment

"Beat It" came on the radio as we were driving home from Story Song Time at the local coffee shop today.  The conversation went like this:

W: What's this? What's this?!
M: Michael Jackson
W: Michael Jackson
M: Do you like it?
W: Yes!  Michael Jackson!  Michael Jackson!
M: Do you want to dance?
W: Yeah!

My heart is full.

Indy

We explored Indianapolis this past weekend and had a blast.  Saturday was spent at the Children's Museum, which is actually the biggest in the world.  It is super cool and kept Whit occupied for hours, leading to an epic slumber crash afterward.  We spent Sunday morning at the zoo, which had some great unique exhibits, including some disco dancing dolphins.  There is so much to do in the city and we look forward to seeing more in the future, especially since it is even closer than Chicago!

Whit was mesmerized by the carousel, even more so when he was watching it than when he was riding it

Rabbit See, Rabbit Do

Some dear friends have poked fun at me over the years because I eat lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms, and radishes right out of the container, like potato chips.  I'm not gonna lie, it's a bit odd, but that's what I crave.  And apparently so does our offspring, who now for snack asks for lettuce, spinach, carrots, or "salad" as pictured below. His bunny tail is sprouting.

New Digs

Since I met Andy I have moved eleven times.  Yeeesh, writing that number makes me a little sick to my stomach...the things you do for love.  Anyway, thankfully five of those times have been with professional movers.  I would give our most recent crew a C+ due to damage and some packing practices that left me scratching my head raw.  All in all, however, the move itself went smoother than many, and we had a wonderful time visiting with family on the way to our new home in the middle of nowhere (by the way, "nowhere" is actually a refreshing place to live, a fact which you don't appreciate until you reach the wise old age of 32).

long-overdue quality time together

Whit's favorite part of moving has clearly been the paper.  He spent the morning one day reading to Bear while I piled it higher and higher on top of him, to which he responded with yelps of glee.
