Uncle Mike, Aunt Julia, and cousins Will and Eva came to visit us for Easter! We had a wonderful time catching up and celebrating the holiday.
On the walk to dinner the first night, the two boys held hands as if no time had passed at all.
Then the poor children were subjected to Aunt Joy's flare for crazy holiday attire.
We were lucky to have two egg hunts this year! The first was what I like to call controlled chaos at our community gathering. It involved the release of sixty toddlers into a cordoned area to grab as many eggs as possible. The chaos, however, did not come from the children - it came from the parents literally pushing others (like me) out of the way to grab cheap colored plastic objects for their kids. I found it joyfully amusing...and may or may not have gleefully shoved back a little.

Eva: Ahhh, two.
Will: Wow, that escalated quickly. I mean it really got out of hand fast. Did you see the man with the trident?
In stark contrast, here Will and Whit showed us the abundance of goodies that the Easter Bunny brought in the eggs he left in our yard.
Fun memories for all from a wonderful weekend!
