School's Out

Whit loved his first semester of preschool.  He was part of a program at the high school with about ten toddlers and eight junior and senior students who have an interest in early childhood education.  It was led by a former preschool teacher, and allowed an almost 1:1 ratio for lots of attention.  He learned a ton and had loads of fun with his new friends, big and little.  On the last day of class, families were invited for a special show and farewell celebration...

The theme for the year was the circus, and at the performance, each child had an "act" to do.  Whit was the strongman, and was the hit of the show. :)

My Mother's Day Gift

Preschool has clearly brought Whit out of his shell.  Perhaps you recall his standstill Christmas pageant performance?  Well, at the MOPS year-end show, he danced and sang and did all the movements to an adorable song called "If You Really Love Your Mom," set to the tune of "If You're Happy and You Know It."  Love, in the form of music.
