Turkey Run State Park in Indiana was our destination this weekend. Hot and humid? Let the photos of our wet hair answer that question. But the cover of the old-growth forests and massive sandstone boulders and caverns provided glorious relief. This poor man's Zion NP is a place we definitely look forward to visiting again...and you can, too, if you come visit. :)
The draught has rendered Sugar Creek a bit of a flowing puddle, but that made it perfect for a whipper snapper to run in and litter with pebbles.

Super cool walk to "The Ladders." This was likely the last hike where Andy will be able to carry Whit up and down hills and ladders...yes, ladders. He is amazing. We'll have to now find some less strenuous destinations for our short-legged little man.
